What HouseholdHire provides
HouseholdHire is a free, self-service planning tool for adults. It compares one potential job with one adult’s existing work schedule and the household assumptions you enter. No card, subscription or recruitment fee is required for this release.
Applications and employers
Apply directly on the employer’s website. We do not submit applications, recruit on an employer’s behalf, verify applicants or guarantee that a vacancy is available. Employer links do not imply a partnership or endorsement. Featured links have a checked date and are retired from the featured section after 14 days; career portals remain available. Always read the employer’s current posting.
Hours, eligibility and estimates
Confirm exact shift times, workdays, pay, qualifications and availability before relying on a plan or applying. A schedule match is only a calculation using your entries, not a hiring decision, eligibility assessment or promise of employment. Estimates assume shift hours are paid and exclude taxes, benefits changes, unpaid breaks and other deductions. Travel and care costs are your budgeting assumptions, not provider quotes. The planner does not arrange childcare, transport or employment.
Keep control of your information
Use accurate information you are entitled to provide. Use adult nicknames rather than unnecessary identifying details. Do not upload identity documents, passwords, children’s information or medical records. Do not use the support form to send spam or deceptive material. See the privacy notice for account saving, retention and deletion.
Backups and support
Keep an exported backup of important plans, especially before changing browsers or domains. Browser storage can be cleared by your device. Early access features may change. Report bugs, closed listings and data concerns through Help & contact. The operator receives requests in a private inbox; an immediate response is not guaranteed.
Mutual job matching
Early-access matching lets employers submit listings and workers express interest in a specific role. Listing review is not independent verification of business identity. Employer details and candidate qualifications must be confirmed directly. A mutual match permits a conversation; it is not a job offer, contract, qualification decision, interview guarantee or hiring guarantee. No employer subscription or customer payment is enabled. Messages do not create calendar invitations. Report inaccurate listings or inappropriate messages through Help & contact. Household availability is private; only the candidate information explicitly submitted for a role is shared.
